At Taylor Stevenson Ranch Meat Co., we take special care when shipping our frozen meat products to help ensure your order arrives cold, secure, and ready for your freezer.
Order Processing & Shipping Schedule
Because our products are shipped frozen, orders are packed and shipped on a limited schedule to reduce the chance of packages sitting in carrier facilities over the weekend.
Orders placed Sunday through Wednesday are generally prepared for shipment the following week.
Orders placed after Wednesday will not ship the immediately following week. Instead, they will be scheduled to ship the week after that.
For example, an order placed on a Tuesday will typically ship the following week. An order placed on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday will typically ship the second week after the order is placed.
Frozen Shipping
All meat products are shipped frozen in insulated packaging with refrigerant or dry ice, as appropriate. During transit, products may arrive frozen, partially frozen, or refrigerator-cold.
If the meat is still cold to the touch upon arrival, it should be placed in the refrigerator for immediate use or transferred to the freezer.
Some thawing during transit may occur and does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe.
Delivery Timing
Shipping transit times vary based on the destination and carrier service. Once your order ships, tracking information will be provided when available.
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and making arrangements to receive their package promptly.
We strongly recommend having someone available to retrieve the package as soon as possible after delivery, particularly during warm weather.
Shipping Delays
Because frozen products are perishable, Taylor Stevenson Ranch Meat Co. may delay shipment due to:
* Extreme weather
* Carrier service interruptions
* Holidays
* Unexpected processing delays
* Conditions that could prevent safe or timely delivery
If necessary, we may hold an order until the next appropriate shipping date to help protect the quality of your products.
Shipping Address
Please carefully review your shipping address before completing your order.
Taylor Stevenson Ranch Meat Co. is not responsible for delays, losses, or product spoilage resulting from:
* Incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer
* Packages delivered to the correct address but not retrieved promptly
* Delivery locations where the carrier is unable to safely leave the package
* Customer-requested delivery changes after the package has shipped
If you notice an address error, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made once an order has entered the shipping process.
Receiving Your Order
When your package arrives, open it promptly and inspect the contents.
Your meat may arrive:
Frozen: Place directly into your freezer.
Partially frozen with ice crystals: The product may generally be safely refrozen or refrigerated for near-term use.
Thawed but still refrigerator-cold: Refrigerate and use promptly rather than automatically discarding the product.
If you believe your order arrived damaged or at an unsafe temperature, please contact Taylor Stevenson Ranch Meat Co. within 24 hours of delivery and provide:
* Your order number
* Photographs of the shipping box
* Photographs of the insulation and refrigerant
* Photographs of the affected products
* A description of the condition in which the order arrived
Please do not discard the packaging or product until we have reviewed your claim.
Perishable Products
Because our meat products are perishable, shipped orders are generally not eligible for return.
If there is an issue with your shipment, we will review the circumstances and determine an appropriate resolution, which may include replacement, store credit, or refund where appropriate.
